Ash and Flowers of Azraeém…
is a Shakespearean Inspired Table-Top Theater Adventure that takes place in the magic rich world of Azraeém right at the brink of it’s collapse. The cause? The 12 Governors whose role is to maintain the balance of the connection between the people of Azraeém and the Magic that helps keep the world alive have been systematically disappearing under unknown circumstances. While there are those who are trying to understand the reason for Their displacement, much of the world’s inhabitants have been left vulnerable to the consequences that come with unbridled influence of Magic that allows anyone – regardless of motivation – the ability to harness it’s power for their own means.
As the world finds itself slowly tumbling into chaos, the Augur Clock – an Unknown Barometer that functions in an arcane space – is slowly ticking away towards the impending Calamity and the mark of the End of Azraeém as everyone knows it to be.
THE SAGA OF ASH AND FLOWERS OF AZRAEÉM is a Three Act Adventure that will allow Players to take on the important role of Vanguards who operate as Specially Ordained Adventurers by the Puck Courts of Azraeém. Their job is to venture forward to find out the reason behind the disappearance of The Governors so that they can be brought back in order to stop the approaching collapse… While there is unknowingly very little time left on The Augur Clock. The game will offer the chance to explore the world, learn more about The Governors and the important role they play, and a chance to come face to face with those whose thirst for power dominates the prospect of the future of Azraeém and it’s life within.

About Table-Top Theater Adventures
A Table-Top Theater Adventure is a long form Adventure that focuses on the Players completing a pre-defined story. All game mechanics and rules are developed to support the story, the world and it’s structuring. The story is written with the intent of embracing Flamboyancy and Camp, while also rewarding Curiosity, Boldness and a willingness to be Assertive in owning one’s game play experience.
About the Game Play Experience
Similar to a Shakespearean Play or any other play performed by theater groups, the ways in which it plays out will differ from table to table regardless of how familiar with the story everyone may be. The game follows a Milestone Leveling System that operates as an organic measure of progress within the adventure that falls in alignment with the kind of experience the Characters within the story would have gained as a result of tasked completed. It is written with Solo Players and Grouped Players in mind.
About the Intended Audience
This story is written for an audience of 18 years and older as it explores and addresses mature topics such as Sexual Assault and Violence, Death and Mortality, and Violent and Corrupt Abuse of Power in ways people may find uncomfortable. Decision making is also a crucial part of the Game Play Experience while prioritizing conscious engagement. While it addresses these topics, it does not condone them and contains consequences that some people may also find uncomfortable when confronting.
About the Release Schedule
The WELCOME TO AZRAEÉM GUIDEBOOK is set for release in LATE FALL 2026 and will work as the Guide for Solo Players, Group Players and Game Runners alike. It will contain all necessary information to start playing including information on the world of Azraeém, Playable and Non-Playable Lineages, the full list of Pursuits and more. The Guidebook will also contain the Level 0 starting adventure BETRAYAL IN THE MIDST to immediately begin playing.



ABOUT THE CRACK OF AN OVERTURE DEMO

THE CRACK OF AN OVERTURE is not only the demo for the SAGA OF ASH AND FLOWERS OF AZRAEÉM but also serves as the Prologue that brings us to the very beginning of the events leading up to the main adventure. The Demo will be a Level 2 Adventure, giving Players a chance to step into their choice of one of four adventurers: SALETHA VANBEROS – a steel-hearted yet vivacious Human Rogue; ODE DELAETH – a brackish and stern Half-Elf/Half-Orc Warrior; PERAN MAPLESHRUB – a quiet and lethal Seedling Priest; and RUVEN JOJOR – a loud mouthed and boisterous Mystic Dagger Dwarf. While on what at first seems to be a standard run of the mill adventure, they find themselves coming across a gigantic crack located near the Utoa Court – a close ally to the Kingdom of Swancoast and a leader among all Puck Courts in Azraeém.
Unsure of what else to do, the story ends with the Adventurers rushing to notify the Pucks of Utoa Court, leading to the kick-off of the Saga in which Queen Kuli – positioned as Queen Heir of the Utoa Court and Queen Consort to the Kingdom of Swancoast – begins coordination with other Puck Courts across Azraeém to establish the Vanguards who will be tasked to find out the root cause of the growing discord in order to hopefully stop the world from ending.
NOTICE: While this demo adventure will not explore the aforementioned sensitive topics, it is still written and intended for an 18 years and older audience.
Playing the Demo
The Demo Adventure is Free to Pay and will give an introductory feel to ASH AND FLOWERS OF AZRAEÉM and to give you an opportunity to get accustomed to the game mechanics that will allow you to dive into the world and story.
